Hans Wolters

Hans Wolters is 1st oboist in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. He was born in Roermond in 1978 and studied at the Utrecht Conservatory. Here he graduated in 2003. His teacher was Ernest Rombout.

Hans was principal oboist in the Swedish Norrköpings Symfoniorkester, the Kungliga Operan Stockholm, Het Brabants Orkest and the European Union Youth Orchestra. As a soloist he has performed with the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest, the Symphony Orchestra of the Utrecht Conservatory, the Concertgebouw Kamerorkest, Het Brabants Orkest and the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie.

Hans Wolters has been with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra since 2007. In addition, he is a member of the Combattimento Consort and the Farkast Quintet Amsterdam. He is also a frequent guest of the Nieuw Ensemble.
